Welcome to the fifty sixth season of Campden Music, which again will feature six concerts between October and March in the wonderful setting of St. James Church. New for this season is a Patrons Scheme, which your committee hopes will realise much needed additional income in order to help maintain the high standard of musicianship which members have come to enjoy. For a minimum donation of £50, a member may become a Patron for the season and will receive acknowledgement in each of the six concert programmes.

I am delighted to announce that a share of the proceeds from Richard Stephens organ recital in October of last year in memory of our past Chairman Tony Saunders, has been kindly donated to the Society by Barbara, and this will be reflected in our September concert being held in Tonys memory.

As ever, we are indebted to our Sponsors and advertisers for their continued support which plays a crucial part in funding the music, and I ask you to support them when you can. A glance through the brochure reveals some familiar names returning to Campden, and we especially welcome the Choir of Worcester Cathedral to our Christmas concert. The committee proposed a small increase to this seasons membership fee at this years AGM which was approved by those present, and we believe the new level of £65 for six concerts still represents exceptional value. The future health of the Society depends largely on members subscriptions, so please help our Treasurer by subscribing early, and this will also ensure a reserved seat at the Christmas concert.
