Welcome to the 57th season
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Society's fifty seventh season of concerts, now firmly established in St. James' Church. The varied programme includes both musicians new to our concerts' programme and those returning often by 'popular request'. We hope the mix of old and new will appeal, and I ask again that you subscribe early, not least to assist our new Treasurer, Michael Lindner, but also to ensure a reserved seat at the Opus Anglicanum Christmas concert.

Last season witnessed the launch of a Patrons' scheme, and although the take up was most encouraging, we hope that even more of you will subscribe at a minimum donation of £50, with acknowledgement in the six concert programmes. Your committee are aware of the need to maintain current levels of income as an absolute minimum, in order to continue the financing of high quality artists, and I commend the Patrons' scheme to you. Please also note that last season's subscription level has been retained.

As ever, we are hugely indebted to those local businesses who support us so generously through sponsorship or advertising, which makes a significant contribution to income, and I ask you to support them where possible. The Chamber Ensemble of London will launch our season on October 10th, do come, experience and enjoy superb musicianship in a wonderful setting which I am confident will continue through to March 2018!

The winter season of concerts organised by Campden Music is funded principally by subscriptions for the whole season.

Even if you are not able to attend all of the concerts we very much hope you will still subscribe for the whole season and thus ensure that we maintain the high standards of musicianship that we have all come to appreciate.

You can subscribe, and indeed become a Patron, by completing the form towards the back of this brochure.
