Each year, Campden Music organises a series of subscription concerts in the beautiful setting and fine acoustics of St James’ Church, Chipping Campden. You can enjoy all six concerts for just £55. We also organise visits to concer ts, ballet and opera in Birmingham.

 

Admission to concerts  

To enjoy Campden Music concerts simply complete and return the Membership form at the back of this brochure. If you are not already a member, you are most welcome to come to a ‘taster’ concert either as a guest of a member or as a guest of the society. (Contact details below). We do not charge admission but suggest guests make a donation of at least £15. Those in full time education are admitted free of charge. Members are encouraged to bring potential new members or occasional visitors to the area.

 

We are very grateful to the many members who make an extra donation to our funds. This makes a significant addition to our income. Please tick the Gift Aid declaration if you are a UK tax payer. This will allow us to claim the tax you have paid on the amount of your subscription and donation. It will not increase the cost of your membership and will not commit you to any future payments to Campden Music.  

 

All payments will be acknowledged by e-mail if we have your e-mail address. We will also issue a receipt on request at a concert.

 

Christmas concert  

Last year, the Christmas concert was very well attended and so admission once again will be by ticket only. Each member will be allowed one ticket free of charge plus up to four more for guests for a donation of £15 each. We shall star t by issuing tickets for reserved seats in the central nave. When these have all gone, the remaining tickets will be for unreserved seats in the side aisles. Please list your requirements on the form at the back of this brochure and book early! Tickets will be available to non-members at all the concerts during the autumn and will be advertised to the general public in December.

 

Membership Renewal  

To join or renew your membership, please complete the form overleaf and send it with your remittance to The Treasurer, “Saxfeld”, Hoo Lane, Chipping Campden, GL55 6AZ (01386 841 520) before the first concert. We are very grateful to the many members who make additional donations to our funds. These make a very significant addition to our income. There will be no membership cards this year. Instead we will send you an acknowledgement by e-mail if we have your e-mail address or issue a receipt if you send an SAE.
